Steven always loved being out in nature. He went to school to become an ethnobiologist, hoping he could help save the environment and protect it for future generations.
For his thesis paper, he traveled to the English countryside to research people who believed in the myth of faeries, to see if that belief caused them to treat their environment any differently.
One day while walking through the forest, a real-life faery appeared to him. She was totally beautiful, human-sized, completely naked, and possessed a magical aura. She told Steven that she saw his heart. She knew he wanted to help preserve the environment. So she offered him a unique way to do it — become a faery like her, gaining magical powers to bring plants to life, heal the wounded, and influence nature.
Steven accepted. And the faery immediately changed him into a beautiful, immortal, magical, and forever bonded with nature faery like herself.
